What is the Annual Fund?

The St. Andrew’s Episcopal School Annual Fund is the school’s most important source of revenue other than student tuition. It was established in 1987 to fund special projects that enhance student life for our students and to cover the expenses that are not covered by tuition. The Annual Fund helps take St. Andrew’s from being a really GOOD school to being a GREAT school.

How does the Annual Fund benefit our students?

Last year, each student received at least $600 worth of enhancements provided by the Annual Fund. Recently, the Annual Fund bought playground equipment, computer projection systems, theatrical lighting, library carrels, a new school bus and fitness equipment. It also provided enhancements for the science program, the drama department, the speech and debate program, the website and classroom equipment technology. It continues to fund staff development, which is critical in providing our teachers with state-of-the-art training, including recent research on learning and the brain. >> See Important Stats Chart

Why give to the Annual Fund when we already pay for tuition?

St. Andrew’s operates on a very tight, efficient budget. While it was recently named one of the “Top 100 Ivy League Feeder Schools in the Nation,” it actually has the very lowest tuition of any of those schools. The Annual Fund helps make that possible by allowing us to enhance our programs and facilities through tax-deductible contributions. >> See Donor Levels
